This very special trek combines touring in the western Bhutanese cities of Paro and Thimphu, with trekking in remote Merak and Sakteng, home to some of Bhutan’s most colorful nomads. Unique to this trip is the time spent in the villages. Instead of rushing through, like so many treks, this program gives you an extra day in Merak and much time in Sakteng to get to know the people and their lifestyle.
