Dotted with small villages where traditions and beliefs are still held closely within people’s hearts, you’ll experience a solemn Catholic festival, photograph exquisite colonial churches and wander small local markets. Experts will share their in-depth knowledge about the traditions, cultures and archaeology of this high desert plateau.
The Santa Rosa de Lima Festival occurs annually on August 30th; this itinerary can be adjusted if travel times do not coincide with the festival
