Discover Nepal
Enjoy the many faces of Nepal without trekking. Beginning in the Valley, you will meet the pilgrims at the vibrant Buddhist and Hindu temples, sit down with a Living Goddess, and visit the palaces of Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur. Heading west, you drive to the charming Newari hill town of Bandipur before driving down to Chitwan Royal Animal Park. After visiting jungle villages, searching for tigers and riding elephants, you will visit one of the holiest places in Nepal – Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, and Janakpur, the birthplace of Sita, and one of the holiest Hindu sites in the world. Here you can visit the temple and, barring unforeseen closures, the Janakpur Woman’s Craft Development Center, one of the finest and most varied craft operations in Nepal.
