Experience & Explore
- Day 1
Arrive in Shanghai. Met and transferred to hotel.
- Day 2
Walk around Xintiandi and Tianzifang. Visit Shanghai Museum, Chaoyang New Village and Afternoon walk along the Bund. PM Acrobatic show.
- Day 3
Fly Tongren/Fenghuang on MU 5882 (0745/1030). Drive Fenghuang. Evening walk through ancient town.
- Day 4
Boat Tour on River. Visit Dehang Miao Village. Drive Zhangjiajie.
- Day 5
Visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Cable car to Baofeng Lake. Walk along Golden Whip Stream Canyon.
- Day 6
AM Visit to Tianzi Mountain Natural Reserve. PM visit to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area and take elevator down the mountain.
- Day 7
Transfer to airport and fly Xian on MU 2620 (0910-1040). Drive to Farmer’s Painting Village. Visit family, painting house and primary school (if open).
- Day 8
Fly Lanzhou. Drive to Xiahe (4.5-5 hrs.)
- Day 9
AM visit to Labrang Monastery. PM visit to village and local Tibetan Family.
- Day 10
Drive to Lanzhou. Train to Zhangye (D 2751 (1410/1723).
- Day 11
Full day tour of Gansu Zhangye National Geopark. Hiking or shuttlebus inside park.
- Day 12
AM tour of Matisi (Horseshoe Temple and Grottoes), and visit to Uyghur Village and family. PM visit to Big Buddha Temple.
- Day 13
Drive Jiayuguan (2-3 hrs.). PM visit to Overhanging Great Wall and Wei-Jin Art Gallery.
- Day 14
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing and then home.
