This trip is truly one of a kind – a unique way to see the architectural treasures of South India and experience the people and their festivals. Here you can see some of the finest temples in all of India –Somnathpur, Hampi, Aihole, Badami – the embodiment of the southern Dravidian culture and sites that will leave you awestruck. But temples are not all! You can explore Hyderabad, take a houseboat through the backwaters of Kerala, wander Cochin, smell the incense of Mysore and end your journey sunbathing on the beach in Goa.
In the spring, if all works well, you will be in Badami for the Pattadakal Dance Festival; and, in the fall, you will be in Mysore for Dushhera.

Arrive Bangalore.
- Day 2
Morning visit to the city. After lunch, drive Mysore via Srirangapatnam.
- Day 3
Tour Mysore. Morning blessings at temple, visit Somnathpur, evening visit to Palace and markets. Evening at Brindavan Gardens.
- Day 4
Drive Bangalore and fly Cochin. Evening Kathakali Dancing.
- Day 5
Spice market, Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets.
- Day 6
Drive Alleppy. Overnight backwater cruise and small canoe exploration at Kynagidi.
- Day 7
Drive Cochin and fly Hyderabad. Afternoon visit to the museum.
- Day 8
Morning visit to Golconda. Evening exploration of Old Hyderabad and the story of the “White Mughals.”
- Day 9
Drive to Hampi
- Day 10
Explore Hampi and its surroundings.
- Day 11
Drive to Badami via Pattadakal and Aihole. Visit town. Possible Dance Festival.
- Day 12
Drive to Goa. Visit church and area.
- Day 13
Morning visit Old Goa with afternoon at leisure.

Free day on the beach.

Transfer to the airport and fly Mumbai. Dinner (on your own) and transfer to the airport for homeward flight.
