Discover Laos
This short journey into Laos begins with a boat ride up the Mekong to Luang Prabang. Here you can spend time in the ethnic villages around Luang Prabang, watch weavers and artists at work and learn from them. You will also picnic by idyllic waterfalls, bring books to children who don’t have any, and explore the markets. From Luang Prabang, you catch a flight to Vientiane to visit the capital city of Laos and explore the galleries, before heading back to Bangkok and home.

Experience & Explore
- Day 1
Arrive in Bangkok
- Day 2
Fly to Chiang Rai and explore the area
- Day 3
Head to Chiang Kong. Cross into Laos and take a boat to Pakbeng.
- Day 4
Continue boat ride up towards Luang Prabang, stopping at Pak Ou Caves and Xang Hai.
- Day 5
Explore Luang Prabang. Afternoon batik workshop. Evening Baci Ceremony and family dinner.
- Day 6
Visit textile villages. PM visit to Khouang Si Falls
- Day 7
Fly to Vientiane on QV 112 (0730/0820). Visit Ho Pha Keo, That Luang, Patuxai, Textile Museum and Antique Lao Textile shop.
- Day 8
Tour Vientiane, market and more textile galleries, or enjoy a meditation and Lao Sauna (Saturday only for meditation)
- Day 9
Fly back to Bangkok
